Can I use the tub outdoors?
Yes. The rotomolded PE tub and polyurethane foam insulation are suitable for patios, gardens, balconies, pool decks and other outdoor recovery spaces.
For best performance, place the chiller in a ventilated and sheltered location away from prolonged heavy rain or standing water.
Will the tub crack under sunlight?
The rotomolded PE shell is impact-resistant and designed for regular outdoor use. Unlike more brittle materials, rotomolded PE is less likely to crack under normal operating conditions.
Using the supplied cover when the tub is not in use will help reduce prolonged UV exposure and keep debris out of the water.
How well does the insulation work?
The cavity between the inner and outer PE layers is filled with polyurethane foam. This reduces heat transfer, helps maintain a stable water temperature and reduces unnecessary chiller operation.
Is the tub waterproof?
The tub uses a seamless rotomolded construction designed to hold water without conventional joined wall panels.
The tub itself is water-resistant and suitable for outdoor use. However, electrical equipment, plugs and the chiller should be installed according to their specified protection rating and kept away from standing water.
How durable is the rotomolded construction?
Rotomolding creates a strong, uniform PE shell with excellent resistance to impact, moisture, corrosion and demanding everyday use.
It provides greater stability and durability than a typical inflatable or thin-wall plastic tub.
Does the tub require assembly?
The main tub body arrives fully formed and does not require structural assembly.
Position the tub on a stable and level surface, connect the water hoses and fittings, fill it with water and follow the chiller setup instructions before use.
How do I clean and maintain the tub?
Drain and wipe the smooth internal surface with a soft cloth and a suitable non-abrasive cleaning solution when required.
Regular maintenance should also include:
